Happy Summer time folks! It’s June! Happy Father’s Day to all who care for children!  Here you will learn more about all that’s happening at the center during the month of June and beyond!

NO LUNCHEON IN JUNE! Our next Monthly Luncheon is July 3rd at NOON at Wiesemeyer. We have Dave Sheppard entertaining. We are serving bratwurst on a bun, macaroni salad, potato chips and dessert. $10 at the door. RSVP IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you RSVP’d and can no longer make it, PLEASE call the center at 618.667.2022 and let us know! Many Thanks!
 
Ticket sales begin on Monday the 9th at 10 AM for our Gateway Grizzlies Game trip Wednesday July 9th. 24 seats available. A non-refundable $75 fee is required to reserve your seat.
 
Drum Fun is on hold for now. We are in search of a Drum Fun leader. We drum on Friday mornings at 9 am in the lower level of the Wiesemeyer building.
         
Bingo continues every Monday at 12:30 at Wiesemeyer. We’ll have a light snack and there is no cost to play, and no RSVP required.
   
We play Hand and Foot the second and third Thursdays of the month. In June we will play on the 12th and 19th from 12:45 – 3:30 pm at the office building. No experience needed! Free to play.
 
Our Sit n Get Fit Class meets every Wednesday at 10 AM at the office. This class improves strength and flexibility, all in a fun inviting setting! Bring a friend for this seated exercise class! Weights, exercise bands and water are provided. THIS CLASS IS FREE! No RSVP required.

Pokeno is Wed. June 18th at 12:30 at Wiesemeyer. We’ll serve a light snack, and there is no cost to play. No RSVP required.  Cambridge House will be providing snacks for all of 2025! THANK YOU TO ANGIE at CAMBRIDGE HOUSE IN MARYVILLE!

NO FOOD and FRIENDS IN JUNE, due to the Rushmore trip. Otherwise, our group gets together the last Wednesday of the month at 4 PM. The next location is determined by vote at the previous dinner. Separate checks as always, bring a friend, and we’ll share all the news that is news! RSVP is a must!! Call the center at 628.667.2022 to RSVP.
 
NO BUNCO IN JUNE due to the Rushmore trip, otherwise BUNCO is played the last Thursday of the month at Wiesemeyer, Seats are currently full, call the center to get on the waiting or sub list. 618.667.2022

Wednesday July 9th – Grizzlies Game – Tickets go on sale June 9th 10 AM. $75 (non-refundable) includes ticket to covered seating off third base, all you can eat food and drink, bus transportation. 1 Sneaker Trip

Thursday Sept. 18th – Iron Mountain and Southern Railway, Jackson MO.  Murder Mystery Dinner, with wine tasting from local wineries and an opportunity to purchase wine. 1 Sneaker Trip.

Wednesday October 8th to Stages, to see Carol King’s musical, “Beautiful.” 1 Sneaker Trip

December 2025 – Wildey Theater to see White Christmas -   1 Sneaker Trip
